My Client is one of the largest banks in Hong Kong working in various areas including Treasury, Retail and Wealth, and Commercial Banking. They are currently recruiting for Front End Developers for the Corporate Function team team due to increasing demand from the business as they need to support new products.
Your role will be to work as part of the team to help continuously with upgrading the the system. You will need to work for both developing websites and mobile to ensure that the information that clients input can be properly captured and efficiently sent to the business. The web pages/mobile pages will be predominantly form based with the work being carried out at a fast pace, about 50% of the time you will Developing and delivering n requirements and 50% will be UAT. This is a chance to work in a dynamic and fast moving team, with a supportive culture that will help you develop your technical skills.
The client will also consider candidates who have not worked in banking previously, making it a very good opportunity to enter this industry. The role is based in Kowloon and is for an initial 12-month contract. This is extremely likely to be extended and there is also a possibility for the position to be transferred to a permanent role.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience with web technology such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS etc.
- MUST SPEAK English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an advantage
- Experience with online banking applications or mobile banking applications is preferred
- University educated
- Team player
