Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business users to understand business requirements
- Design back-end business logic according to the requirements
- Work with teammates to implement APIs for different consumers globally
- Work in an agile environment with product team, QA team, and other software engineers
- Participate in code reviews and follow strong engineering principles
- Monitor and troubleshoot error reports from day to day
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, support and maintenance
- Expert knowledge in Ruby on Rails is a MUST
- Strong ability to reduce complicated problems into smaller ones
- Solid experience in refactoring and performance optimization
- Knowledge in TDD, BDD or other agile development methodologies
- Knowledge in SQL and noSQL databases
- Excellent teamwork and communications skills
