Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigates and assesses claims filed under general and travel policies;
- Administrates and manages the day-to-day operation of the Claims Department and reports to the supervisor of any exceptional situations for advice and departmental solutions;
- Supervises sub-ordinates and monitors daily performance;
- Interfaces with related departments and relevant parties on inter-departmental projects and joint work to attain customer services;
- Authorizes claims payment;
- Liaises with service providers to achieve quality claims works and services;
- Pursues recovery after settlement of claims;
- Handles claims appeals, customer services and complaints.
Job Requirements:
- University degree referable;
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant working experience with in-depth knowledge in General Insurance claims;
- Possesses relevant insurance professional qualification such as ANZIIF or ACII, etc.;
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislations
- Team player with positive attitude, good negotiation and interpersonal skill
- Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks;
- Excellent command of written and spoken in English and Chinese.
