On behalf of clients, we are seeking high calibre candidates for the following:  

Position: Assistant Manager/Officer (Pensions Operation/Administration/Quality Assurance, Group Medical Pricing, EB Medical Client Management/Business Development

Positions offered would be depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidates.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:    

To execute any of the following job functions:     

a). Assistant Manager, Group New Business Pricing 

  • Lead the team to prepare proposal for group insurance business
  • Work closely with business development team by providing input and advice in business development
  • Review and streaming the proposal process in order to increase the overall efficiency
  • Liaise with relevant party to review and enhance the pricing guideline in order to maintain overall competitiveness
  • Liaise with external parties on special quote
  • Empower the team’s knowledge and skills through appropriate training and guidance
  • Make recommendation on product/services development / enhancement to ensure the competitiveness of Sun Life’s products in the market
  • Handle the ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time 

b).  Pensions Quality Assurance (Assistant Manager - 1 year contract)

  • Ensure overall compliance with legislative requirements, governing rules and Service Agreements for the portfolios assigned
    - Prepare/check statutory returns/reports
    - Ensure Permanent Departure reports are submitted and records are updated
    - Handle compliance reporting
    - Prepare and review SOS reports/management reports
    - Review and update procedure/operation procedure manuals
  • Handle complaints and enquiries from trustees, regulator, government bodies
  • Co-ordinate on-site visits and audits by auditors, regulators and trustees. Ensure proper follow up actions are taken for the issues identified in the visits
  • Prepare, co-ordinate and delivery of in-house training sessions organized by Quality Assurance Team
  • Assist in routine & ad-hoc projects, e.g. UAT, legislative changes related projects …etc

c).   EB Business Development (Specialist/Assistant Manager) 

  • Achieve sales targets as assigned by working with distribution channels in developing Pensions & Group business
  • Provide input for formulating sales & marketing strategies and responsible for the subsequent implementation
  • Handle the ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time
  • Compile regular sales reports to management and distribution channels for business review 

d).   Pensions Client Management (Officer)

  • Assist to develop communication plan or roll out strategies for Client Solutions
  • Partner with distribution channels to execute the agreed strategies & initiatives by providing total solutions to their employer clients & their employee members to strengthen their relationship
  • Provide proactive client services & communications with the clients by assisting the distribution channels to conduct client meetings and member education briefings
  • Provide comprehensive solutions to employee members to consolidate their MPF accounts & use appropriate approaches on retirement planning through professional consultation of the distribution channels
  • Gather feedback from distribution channels/ clients and make recommendations for service improvement accordingly
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as required 

e).  Group Medical Client Management (Officer)

  • Handle the renewal process for assigned cases, such as making underwriting suggestions, preparing quotations and providing recommendations on benefit design to clients and coordinating with all key stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of renewal service
  • Build up strong business relationship with group VIP clients by regular client visits, conducting member's briefing & arranging health seminar and provide proactive customer service support to intermediaries
  • Handle enquiries from intermediaries & clients
  • Prepare regular reports for management review & support ad-hoc projects 5 years' experience in pension & group sales, preferably with experience in distribution channel sales operation 

REQUIREMENTS:    

A.  General Requirements 

  • Associate degree, Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines;
  • Able to work under high pressure with professional business acumen
  • Highly adaptable to changes with flexible and positive working attitude
  • Good analytical skills with sensitivity to figures
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal & negotiation skills
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)     

B.  Experience Requirements    

a).   for Assistant Manager, Group New Business Pricing requires at least 5 years relevant experiences with minimum 3 years in managerial role.

b).  for Pensions Quality Assurance (Assistant Manager - 1 year contract requires at least 6 years' working experience in pension industry, of which 2 years with regulators, trustees or compliance area preferred, with good knowledge of MPF / ORSO Ordinance and Regulations 

c).   for  EB Business Development (Specialist/Assistant Manager) requires 5 years' experience in pension & group sales, preferably with experience in distribution channel sales operation.

d).  for  Pensions Client Management (Officer) requires at least 3 year of solid experience in client servicing/ distribution of MPF products, preferably with experience in working with distribution channels, and basic knowledge about group/ individual insurance products is a plus 

e).  for Group Medical Client Management (Officer) requires at least 3 years of working experience in group medical insurance, preferably with underwriting knowledge
