Responsibilities:

• Conduct pricing modelling, produce profitability measures and assist in preparing pricing approval to meet the financial requirement of the company
• Provide support on actuarial related area in product development cycle to ensure accurate and timely system delivery, including developing illustration spreadsheets, reviewing IT business requirements, UAT results and product materials
• Handle and recommend solutions to daily operational issue, enquiry or request raised from other departments
• Give advice to business functions on insurance products
• Work on other ad-hoc projects and other duties as required

Requirements:

• University graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics (minor or election in computing/data analytics/machine learning is an advantage)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the life insurance industry
• Experience in product development and pricing or related field
• Knowledge of the Hong Kong regulatory framework
• Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Detail-oriented and is able to deliver work with accuracy in timely manner
• Innovative and dynamic
• Quick learner and independent worker
• Strong Excel and programming/computing skills
• Prior experience in Prophet is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
