Job Responsibilities:

• Develop & explore new customers and markets in Japan
• Develop and review sales strategies to meet company business goals
• Manage customer relationship by providing proactive and efficient advice and services
• Manage vendor relationship and strategically work with suppliers / vendors and related parties as to build strong partnerships and strive for supplying best value products to customers and complying to customers' requirements
• Ensure the team to follow high standards in order to accomplish effective and efficient order management, quality control and on time delivery
• Collect market information and trend and recommend needs for new product development initiatives
• Analyze performance of the markets, business opportunities and identify areas of growth, research needs and margin improvement
• Assist in developing segment strategies and plans such as strategy / concept development
• Experienced focus in dealing with Japan customers

Job Requirements:

• University degree holder (Preferably in Business / Marketing / Textiles & Clothing or equivalent)
• 10 years of sales and marketing experience in garment industry (sweater products) with at least 5 years at managerial level
• Good knowledge in ladies sweater and materials (Yarn, Cashmere)
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Japanese
• Aggressive and results driven, ability to drive the team in an effective manner
• Proactive and strong problem solving skill
• Strong analysis and negotiation skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Track record of working with international fashion chains
• Frequent business trip is required
• Immediately available is highly preferred
