Job Description:

The Sales/Marketing manager is responsible for further developing our growing business world-wide. ZAZU Limited is a fast growing company with a worldwide distribution network. We are currently active in 40+ countries and are looking for a Sales/Marketing manager that can help us realizing future prospects. The Sales/Marketing manager will be key in enhancing the communication with distributors, coordinating the marketing activities and seeking for new business possibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales/Marketing manager is responsible for

Existing relations and stakeholders:

  • Daily communication and key account management with distributors;
  • Monitoring and improving marketing activities of distributors;
  • Rolling out tailor-made marketing strategies 
  • Improving the current online marketing strategy, including social media marketing, influencer marketing and SEO/SEA;
  • Acting as the main point of contact for our Dutch office
  • Working in close collaboration with our HK and China based Purchase, Logistics, and Product Development Department;

New business:

  • New Business Development, including acquisition of new clients;
  • Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs;
  • Monitor, analyze and leverage relevant data sources;
  • Lead analytical approaches to turn sales and executive reports

General tasks:

  • sales targets / budget and reporting to Director;
  • Managing all administrative tasks inherent to the position.
  • Align strategic marketing priorities across the Dutch and Hong Kong office.

 

Qualifications:

Education and experience

  • At least a Master Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or International Management;
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience (Marketing/Sales);
  • Preferable experience in the retail / children? retail industry;
  • Previous experience with living in an overseas country and understanding the culture;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM programmes;

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Strong connection with offline retail and online retail concepts;
  • Strong understanding of the ZAZU Limited company objectives;
  • Ability to work in a fast growing business environment with limited supervision;
  • High degree of listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch; Dutch language skills are obligatory
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, German and French; skills and abilities in other language are an added plus

  • Is able to leverage data results into a strategic approach for improving Marketing strategies and activities.
