Duties

Ensures that the companies selling products to our company are aware of the regulatory requirements regarding products safety and environmental compliance.

Ensures that all of our Suppliers are aware of the documentation (test reports, assessments, declarations,) which we requires as an evidence of compliance before releasing the goods for shipment.

Works closely with 3^rd party testing service providers, vendors, merchandisers and product development team to ensure the product testing processes are managed in compliance with corporate procedures.  

Ensures that the products compliance documentation is received in due time.

Verifies that products compliance is adequately documented.

Keeps records in accordance with both the regulatory requirements and corporate procedures.

Travel as needed to suppliers of third party products mainly located in Hong Kong.

Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by the supervisor

Skills and experience

Holds a degree, possibly in Mechanical / Quality Engineering (or related discipline).  A Chemistry degree would be a strong bonus.

At least 3 years quality related experience with focus in plastic and soft toys.

The candidate shall at least have a basic knowledge of the EU toys safety Regulations and Directives. Knowledge of the USA regulations is a bonus.

Familiar with both international toys regulatory requirements and technical standards.

Basic competencies of toys testing processes would be a bonus.

Has good analytical and problem solving skills.

Initiative, responsible, strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is necessary
