Our client is a reputable consumer brand with presence across the globe. To support its sourcing function, an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic talent to join its Greater China team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Function Head, you will oversee new product programs from development plan, sourcing, sample development, order process formulation to manufacturing readiness. You will work closely with cross-function teams to ensure effective and efficiently delivery of programs to meet cost, quality, performance and timeline objectives. You will act as a facilitator and problem-solver to ensure completion of program within established time and budget. In addition, you will modify program and resources allocation plans in respond to any potential issues arise during the process.

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Procurement or any related discipline
• At least 10 years of product development and sourcing experience, preferably gained from fast-paced trading firm
• Knowledge in gifts & premium, lifestyle, accessories (hardgoods) or packaging merchandise will be highly sought after
• Proven track record in managing multiple product development projects from Asia origins
• Flexible, independent and with ability to work within a fast-paced work environment
• Exceptional strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
