Purpose:

PFI Hong Kong wants to enforce its sustainability team and is looking for an experienced sustainability manager for developing this sector. The person holding this position is responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining sustainability systems for our clients and represent the company in various committees.  The person must be familiar with all relevant standards and regulations as well as with government and NGO initiatives. Our clients are first located in Europe with factories in Asia. Our main product groups are consumer articles like shoes, clothing and related. 

Duties :

• Audit system development, and familiar with existing standards BSCI, Sedex, ISO, social and environmental safety, supply chain management and so forth.
• Establish certificate and labelling system for Europe and China market.
• Target clients: discounter franchising (Europe and China) and the supply chain system.
• Familiar with footwear, textile and/or consumer article industry.
• Sustainable development for PFI and clients with tailor-made sustainable plan and their supply chain.
• Sustainability management, reporting and verification.
• Support collaboration with colleagues in Germany and China on sharing Project status.
• Developing sustainability initiatives and project planning.

Requirements :

• Bachelor Degree from disciplines in Science, Environmental, social, supply chain Management, or equivalent preferred with at least 5 year's relevant experience
• Mature, self-motivated, and strong project management skills
• Familiar with the relative standard (footwear, textile and/or consumer articles) and management of auditing system.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Travel: 50% short and long distances travel, mostly in China and Asia.
