Job Description
Overall Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the performance of different vendor and supplier
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the performance of different vendor and supplier
- Manage company and group wide daily procurement activities to ensure all hard and operations supply are in good order
- Research and establish latest textile trend
- Support and manage textile supply base in China
- Actively manage sourcing and development critical path
- Facilitate the establishment of new global sourcing routes
- Source any potential and existing suppliers in overseas and in local China
- Be independent to analyze business situation and propose quality sourcing decision
- Other ad hoc project as assigned
- Report & analysis for all product & pricing strategies
- Full responsibility of all product nutritional & quality issues
Qualifications, training and experience requirement
- Higher Diploma / Degree holder or above in Textile Design / Technology preferred/ Textile & Clothing
- 5 years experience in sourcing and development with strong trend focus
- Technical expertise in woven
- Experience in textile/apparel industry is a plus
- Good communication skill
- Energetic, independent; good team work with out-going personality
- Experience in working with China based suppliers essential
- Frequent travel in China is required
