Job Description
To support the Company’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) services for customers in Hong Kong, we are looking for a high caliber account management and energy services professional to join the Corporate Customer Experience Department based in Hong Kong. Demand side management experience for Power Industry is an edge but not essential.
Reporting to the Corporate Customer Experience Manager of the Corporate Customer Experience Department, the appointee will have the following key responsibilities:
Major Duties:
- Establish and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in local EE&C related industries, such as government bodies, EE&C organizations, product vendors, contractors, and customers etc.
- Formulate promotion and implementation plan for the company’s EE&C programmes, funds, and public education campaign etc.
- Review and develop EE&C programmes to meet customer needs and the Company’s strategic plan.
- Support the management to develop strategies for promoting EE&C and meet the EE&C targets under the Scheme of Control Agreement with the Government.
- Develop and introduce energy efficient technologies and applications to help customer save energy
- Act as a programme manager to manage and implement the company’s EE&C programme and funds.
- Communicate CLP’s position on issues concerning the environment, tariff, community, etc. and seek customer endorsement of these activities
- Assist in organizing events, seminars and meetings for customers
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to provide timely technical consultancy and energy management advice to customers
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Business Administration/ Engineering/ Environmental Management or a related discipline, with a minimum 7 years’ working experience
- Experience in marketing, e-marketing, sales and account management in a fast moving business environment. Strong network with local lighting, building services and other energy retrofit market participants is a plus
- Familiarity with energy management practices such as lighting retrofit, energy audit, and concepts such as smart grid technology
- Strong presentation skills including ability to put together persuasive sales presentations and establish strong business partnerships
- Well versed in project management and application of commercial tools for business and market analysis
- Good communication skills, including both spoken and written English and Chinese
