Legislative Assistant

Job Description

• Initiating and conducting public policy research, drafting speeches and submissions;
• Writing content for Member’s online social platforms, including his personal website, Facebook page etc;
• Liaising with Government officials, Legislative Council Secretariat, other LegCo members, political parties, interest groups and media;
• Drafting Member’s official correspondence and handling public complaints.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree holder or equivalent, preferable in Journalism, Political Science, Social Science or related disciplines;
• Strong awareness of Hong Kong’s current affairs;
• Good command of both Chinese and English ;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Outgoing personality and ability to work independently;

• 主動積極，能獨立處理工作；
