Job Description

Haymarket Asia’s publishing business is changing. It’s making the all-important transition from print to digital and has taken a new position with its approach to a more data-driven process, building audience profiles and analyzing trends and opportunities within the business. To assist with future strategic decisions and continuously improve our online development, optimization and digital focus, there is a need for greater assistance with the analysis of the data at our disposal.

Reporting to the Head of Audience and working closely with the event, digital and business analyst teams; the Digital Marketing Executive will give the business clear transparency on digital performance of its online platforms and handle marketing campaigns for our publications and events.

The ideal candidate will have a specific focus on marketing analysis, analytics and using these results for our event campaign execution. The candidate must have a background in digital marketing and a desire to identify, develop, test and measure integrated digital platforms across a range of brand titles and different audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing

  • Analyse event and brand email marketing campaign performance, tracking all Open, Click, Bounce and Unsubscribe rates. Manage A/B testing process and make recommendations on improving performance.
  • Develop reports on website user behaviour across brands, with data collection points across each digital website. Delve into the data and build audience personas for each brand.
  • Use audience behaviour analysis to further enhance brands online platforms and our integrated marketing communication channels/message.

Digital Analysis & Reporting

  • Feeding data from analytics tools into each brands analytics dashboard, providing a monthly summary of brand performance across online key performance indicators, editorial bulletins and marketing activity.
  • Interpret data about audience behaviour and circulate to stakeholders to assist key business and publishing decisions on digital content and platform optimisation.
  • Work with the digital developers in testing new tools and innovative ideas around improving/ optimising UX across the company’s digital product portfolio.

Campaign Management

  • Execute the marketing campaigns for each event through eDM campaigns, social media, data segmentation and working with the telemarketing team to deliver the best results in terms of audience and delegate revenue.
  • CRM messages around seasonal holidays, other email campaigns and any general messages to engage our audience.
  • Update Websites – past and future events

 

Requirements:

  • Digital Marketing and Social Media Experience
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Pro, Hootsuite, email marketing platforms and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills
  • Ability to interpret and report information
  • Confidence when presenting data stories to different areas of the business
  • Clear communication both verbally and written, in English (Cantonese is a bonus)
  • Digital background with a solid understanding/ interest of the digital publishing industry
  • 2-3 years relevant working experience
  • The ability to “get on with projects” and take full initiative, ownership and responsibility
