Job Description

Reporting to Controller (Medical Services), he/she will be responsible for:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the whole spectrum of charity medical service units including the fund for cancer aids, the fund for the health of youth and children, the charity drug centre, the dementia day care centre and others;
  • Annual planning & budgeting, and financial performance monitoring of the units;
  • Maintaining effective cooperation and promoting synergy among service units;
  • Maintaining effective contact and communication with donors and supporters of the services
  • Responsible for writing the grant applications for funding;
  • Writing tender document for new public-private collaboration services/programme;
  • Any other duties as required in achieving the mission of Yan Oi Tong

 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in healthcare or other related disciplines;
  • A minimum of 8 years’ working experience with at least 3 years at supervisory or managerial level;
  • Solid operation and management experience in healthcare or medical services industry;
  • Prior experience in public services and non-governmental organizations is a definite advantage;
  • Proactive approach to understand potential issues and provide solutions as well as manage multiple priorities;
  • Demonstrated strength in multi-tasking, problem solving, priorities, defining needs, visualizing alternatives and initiating actions to achieve goals;
  • Independent, self-motivated and be able to work under pressure;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
