Job Description
The Job:
- Assist handling the communication and administration between buyers and suppliers
- Assist whole sampling and ordering process such as checking, packing and order follow-up
- Monitor production and delivery schedule
- Handle special projects
- Future outlook: possibility to visit factory, showroom and fair visits, participating buying trips, handle own categories independently
The Person:
- Relevant diploma or above, with English & Chinese passed in HKCEE/DSE
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in global market of procurement and sourcing
- Experience and knowledge in Home Textile is an Advantage. Experience and knowledge of Home Accessories or Household and Decorative Items is an advantage but not must.
- Fluent in spoken & written English, Cantonese & Mandarin is a must,
- Conversant with MS Office including Excel, WORD and Outlook
- Detail-minded, fast-learner, efficient, self-motivated and strong administrative skill and open for new projects
- Good time management and strong in communication
- Multi-cultural exposure is an advantage
- Willing to contact and communicate with buyers in Switzerland Headquarters and suppliers in Asia
- Willing to learn, outgoing, positive attitude, team player with open-minded way of international thinking
- Travel is required
- Immediate available will be advantage
