Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Textile / University graduate; 4 years relevant work experience in Sourcing Office environment
• Sound technical knowledge in footwear in the respective product areas up to a level to be able to assess production comments/quality and make competent decisions on alternatives
• Working for European brand would be an advantage
• Strong task orientated skill
• Computer literate
• Good command of English & Chinese including Mandarin
• Able to build relationships and communicate effectively with suppliers
• Able to identify problems, escalate and provide quality recommendations on solutions
• Detailed and organized
• A team player & be flexible
• Immediate available or short notice is highly preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be also considered

 Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with suppliers & shipping team to ensure the productions are delivered on time and alert the Assist Global Procurement Manager on any potential risks promptly.
• Create order and maintain all data are updated and accurate in the system.
• Manage the sample submission by contacting the suppliers and dealing with quality team as well as to closely work with Assist Global Procurement Manager on delays issue.
• Keep good working relationship with different parties including global procurement and quality team in Hong Kong.
• Assist in coordinating the sample development, costing package and production to meet the company requirements & obtain/make necessary approvals.
• Provide the support to the team leaders and the global procurement team during the quotation meeting.
• Report to the Senior Merchandiser re the daily issues and escalate any outstanding ones.  Implement the corrective action plan to improve the DD performance and the quality claim ratio.
• Actively visit suppliers on a regular basis to keep abreast of their competences and activities.
