Our client is a renowned retail Group. To cope with rapid business growth and expansion, they are now seeking dynamic and highly-motivated professional to fill the position of Merchandise & Buying Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable for product line reviews, selection and recommendation, OTB planning, ordering, pricing and inventory control
• Drive branding strategy, product development and marketing plans, communicate local product needs to Principle, negotiate trade and payment terms
• Managed seasonal trade shows, weekly/ monthly sales forecast, identifying sales trends and opportunities to ensure buys were in line with company’s financial goals and objectives
• Perform business performance evaluation, margin and cost control, prepare annual budget and forecast, sales and inventory analysis
• Response on international product trends, be in the know of the market/ industry, identify new business opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

• University graduate
• 6-8 years plus buying / merchandising / product management experience in fashion retail /sport / outdoor apparel / footwear business
• Strong analytical and communication skills with Up-to-date with latest fashion trends
• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong retail market and trend
• Highly flexible with capacity to work in a dynamic environment
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
