Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the Medical Records Officer will

• Plan, monitor and manage the daily operation of the medical records services
• Ensure Health Information are being assessed, stored and used in ways that complies with the requirements of relevant legislations and regulations relating to Personal Data
• Monitor and enhance the quality of health information, including documentation and standardization
• Manage the control of Health Records retention period and confidential disposal
• Liaise with other departments and hospitals in records management

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, Public Health or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ related experience in information and record management, or in nursing administration
• Knowledge of clinical coding, medical terminology and ICD-10 Clinical Classification System is an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
