Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treaty, you are responsible to:
- Liaise and communicate with internal and external parties to reconcile the SOAs received from counter-parties, before the collection and settlement of premium and claim transactions with them;
- Follow through to ensure that counter parties make accurate settlements to us on time;
- Arrange accurate and timely payments of premium and claims to clients, insurers or re-insurers in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and procedures;
- Update settlement details to Debtors and Creditors Sub-Ledger;
- Handle monthly reconciliations (e.g. bank reconciliation, reconciliation of Debtors and Creditors Sub-Ledger against General Ledger, reconciliation of client monies, etc.);
- Carry out general office administration duties;
- Support system implementation; and
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as required
Requirements
- LCC Intermediate Certificate or above
- 3 years credit control working experience (preferably with insurance broker)
- Proficient in using MS Office, in particular Excel spreadsheet
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Experience in system implementation will definitely be an advantage
- Meticulous, attend to details, independent and responsible
