Our client, a well-established bank, is now seeking an experienced candidate to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining system control in the Division and ensuring adherence to internal standards and statutory requirements
• Plan and manage a series of banking/ finance projects, monitor the progress and provide regular progress report.
• Support Finance related projects to enhance Finance’s control functions and improve the work efficiency through system automation and process re-engineering.
• Support the preparation of operating procedures and manuals for accounting processing systems; coordinate the implementation to conform to the risk control policies
• Participate in product control for new business product and product modification as well as system developments and enhancements initiated at both local and Head Office levels
• Liaise with respective departments/vendors to ensure a smooth and timely implementation of the project plan.

Requirements:

• University degree holder in Accounting or Finance, qualified accountant is preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years’ project management / business analysis experience in banking industry with focus on product and system development/regulatory reporting
• Familiar with accounting and finance / banking operations and statutory requirements
• Proficient project management and strong analytical skills
• Willing to travel, in particular to the PRC
• Good English and Chinese documentation and report writing skill
• Good command of both English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
