Our client is the world's largest university press, publishing over 4,000 new titles a year.  It has become familiar to millions through a diverse publishing programmes. They are looking for a high caliber to join their finance team.  

Job Responsibilities :

• Supervise the accounting team for production costing, inventory valuation and reconciliation, variance analysis, title master management ;
• Oversee the accounting routines including licensing incomes invoicing and collection, related royalty processing, and rebate payable;
• Responsible for month-end closing schedules for Group Reporting Packs;
• Prepare management report and analytical review ;
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and reconciliation;
• Prepare tax computation, regulatory filing and related schedules fro Group Tax review;
• Prepare annual budget, monthly forecast including variance and gap analysis with commentaries ;
• Supervise team members an support the initiatives fro workflow and process improvement; and system enhancement;
• Ensure compliance for group accounting policies and liaise with auditors for statutory audit and internal audit;
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects .

 Requirements :

• University graduate major in Finance or Accounting ;
• HKICPA or ACCA qualified is a MUST;
• At least 5 years post qualification experience and 3 years supervising experiences in the related areas;
• Flexible, able to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Good team player and able to interact with people at all levels ;
• Practical experience in SAP, FICO certified preferred;
• Computer proficiency with advanced MS Excel skill;
• Fluent English and Mandarin;
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player; highly organized and able to work independently and under pressure .
