Our client is a global FinTech startup, they are currently looking for the Head of Payments and Banking to join their company.
Job Duties
- Manage the funds on corporate accounts and anticipate money flows to guarantee a smooth and economic liquidity
- Open corporate bank accounts in different geographies and at partners varying from large global banking institutions to small domestic banks
- Maintain a good relationship with partnering banks and payment providers
- Lead the team to handle 1st level RFI's and compliance request coming from banks or payment providers
- Guarantee matched reconciliation or investigate and point-out differences
- Advise on automation and new technologies which benefit efficiency and allow scalability
Requirements
- At least 4-year experience in leading a 'Payments and Bank-relationship'-team in a Payment Processor
- Solid understanding of interbank protocols (cut-off times, balancing…)
- Extensive experience in handling 1st-level RFI's and compliance questions coming from banks
- Background with operating typical bank interfaces, processing bank statements and the required 'maker-checker'-principles in executing payments
- Ability to setup, lead and mentor a fast-growing team
- Strong communication skills and excellent verbal and written English
- Passionate about new technologies and concepts
