Our client is a major Bank currently seeking x3 experienced Business Strategy & Control Managers. Our client is offering an excellent remuneration package and has described the working environment as dynamic and exciting.

The scope of the role will have you involved in the following:

• Responsible for carrying out the Regional Global market business control management tasks
• Sets up and runs the trading authorization mechanism on ASEAN branches and subsidiaries in respect to their business strategies and risk control framework
• Performs control functions on monitoring different types of risk level changes of Global Market business in overseas branches and subsidiaries. Being the hub instructor to provide support and training to the oversea Front office and Middle office staff with respect to internal controls on the trading floor
• Conducts regular review (on site or off site) on the risk control efficiency in overseas Global Markets operation and provide guidance to overseas branches in setting up and implementing all remedial actions
• Needs to work in overseas branches and subsidiaries for a short period of time to help set up the local internal control framework and daily control measures
• Provides guidance on implementing new product risk assessment process and help setting up relevant control measures
• Help to design internal control measures and monitoring reports to ensure that the operation of the Global business is complying with the bank’s policies and rules
• Help to carry out all sorts of internal control and compliance tasks, like drafting the control measures and carry out sample checking
• Provide control related supports to frontline trading teams

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in Banking industry, preferably with 1-year experience in trading
• Knowledge of Global Financial Market and Treasury Development is an advantage
• Strong analytical capability, self-motivated, and independent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English, fluent in Mandarin is preferable
• Hands-on experience in PC software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Chinese Word Processing.
