Job Description
- Provide both creative and practical support to fashion designers by pooling ideas and handling office work
- Assist the designer in coming up designs for wedding and evening dress collections.
- Study current and upcoming trends. Assist in creating mood and trend boards for reference purposes
- Perform extensive market trend research to understand competitive opportunities
- Assist fashion designer throughout the production development procedure. Maintain and organize design studio in the right order with clear working schedule for workers.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for material procurement. Fabric sourcing and order raw materials needed and then keep track of the purchase order process. Plan inventory, track sales and get in touch with the vendors.
- Communication with clients, vendors and suppliers on phone calls, emails, social media platform. Keep in touch with the designer at all times and perform duties as requested or ordered.
- Work with clients. Discuss with clients to understand their design needs and come provide feedback on presented ideas with fashion designer. Make sketches of proposed designs for clients. Inspecting client orders during the design process until the finish product
