Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Organising and managing of day to day activities regarding Quantiserv Services (marine service, workshop, logistics, spare part handling)
  • Planning of Strategies and budgets
  • Managing and coaching of Harbour Repair Team and in-situ machining team
  • Development and training of Service Staff
  • Marketing and Sales of Services
  • Developing and maintaining the workshop facilities and functionality
  • Accountable for divisional / group profitability and costs control
  • Communication and reporting
  • Technical support for business or internal training
  • Occasional ad-hoc tasks necessary to secure the Business when required

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering background
  • At least 10 years experiences as Service Manager, Maintenance Manager or equivalent managerial position in industrial service
  • Serve as Chief Engineer on a foreign going vessel for at least 3-5 years
  • Preferably someone who had serve Maersk Line
  • Good competency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), written and oral
  • Readiness to travel
  • Good knowledge of computer applications
  • Team player with good communication skills and ability to drive a unit independently
  • Extensive technical knowledge on various brand names of diesel engines and related accessories.
