Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Generate quotations based on customers or sales request by evaluating inquire and registering/maintaining opportunity information
  • Marketing and sales of Quantiserv Portfolios - Recondition of 2-Stroke Components, In-Situ Services (Crankshaft recovery Laser Services, Stern-Tube repairs, Line-Boring Activities, OOEM engine Services, Metal Stitching, Epoxy activities etc.)
  • Develop and promote Quantiserv business with shipping companies, owners or Power Plants Management
  • Accountable for divisional / group profitability and costs control
  • Report sales results and developments according to company guidelines
  • Identify new business potentials and take actions for materialising
  • Cooperate and coordinate sales activities for global or cross country operating customer with responsible colleagues
  • Create account plans for major customers, execute the plan and update changes throughout the year
  • Propose customer specific budgets based on historical data, market outlook, identified opportunities and strategy
  • Visit customers based on regular planning activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers
  • Develop and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information
  • Ensure that customer inquiries, orders and complaints are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner

Requirements:

  • University degree in marine engineering or mechanical engineering
  • At least 3 to 5 years experiences in related field or industry (i.e. Diesel Engines, Marine Propulsion, Shipyard, Power Plants)
  • Understanding customers’ business environment
  • Sales skills, competence in closing deals
  • Understanding sales and business financials as well as contractual knowledge
  • Negotiation and influencing skills, active listening
  • 2-Stroke business and product knowledge (Orientation on products/Services familiarization will be provided).
  • Being a result oriented, proactive, positive, confident, energetic and entrepreneurial team player
  • Good competency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), written and oral
  • Readiness to travel
  • Good knowledge of computer applications
  • Team player with good communication and cooperation skills
