Job scope

• Responsible for the design of drivers/control gear for LED Luminaries based on required  product specification
• Definition of system/subsystem architecture and designtarget
• Define testing and validation procedures andmethodology
• Work with mechanical engineer, electronic engineer and project leader to complete the projecttasks

Requirements

• Degree or above in Electronic Engineering from reputedinstitution
• 5 years development experience in power suppliers design and related workexperience
• Knowledge of power semiconductors devices (rectifiers, bipolar transistors, MOSFETS, thyristors, IGBTs,etc.)
• Familiar with different topologies of switch-mode converters such as bulk, bulk-boost, fly-backtype
• Familiar with schematic capture, BOM creation, design validation test and regulatory approval such as safety and EMItest
• Knowledge of LED characteristic/behavior, thermal management is amust
• Knowledge of using microcontroller for LED lighting will be an added advantage
• Must be a team player and willing to go extra mile in a true R&Denvironment
• Applicant with certificates of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A will be anadvantage
