Scope of Function :

Assuring, that all products and processes meet or exceed customer, legal and/or internal BRITA requirements. Assure the application of the BRITA product development process for all new products.  Optimise product quality by minimising Cost of Non-Quality.  Act as the quality responsible for the SBAs in APAC under close cooperation with the European HQ.

  Requirement :

• Min 5 years experience in Quality in an industrial environment, preferable in "white product" segments or SDA or Automotive.
• Strong Experience with supplier selection, development and management.
• Leadership of cross-functional product development and product and process improvement teams and be able to deal with all levels of hierachy and different functions.
• Technical background with sound knowledge and experience in economical topics
• SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient inPC Skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

Responsibilities :

• Ensure the quality of all projects, products and processes in the APAC market
• Manage customer and consumer complaints in the APAC market and support the BRITA products and process optimization (PPO) processes
• Select, develop and manage all suppliers in the supply chain of the APAC market
• Ensure a quality assured new product development process (PEP) that meets a flawless launch in all markets, especially in the APAC market
• Develop and ensure a quality system, that meets or exceeds all customer, legal and internal requirements for the APAC market
• Act as a quality responsible of new product development projects which products are produced and sold in the APAC market
• Continuous quality improvement of products and processes by minimizing Cost of Non-Quality in the APAC market
• If applicable, work in close cooperation with the BRITA manufacturing and Quality Control people to improve products and processes and to solve problems effectively
• Other ad hoc assigments related to quality, product compliance, environment & safety area

Education  :

• Engineer (i.e. plastics, mechanical) or quality engineer, industrial engineer or similar education.
• Training in Quality tools and methods, i.e. root cause analysis, strong problem solving skills, statistics, APQP, PPAP, Auditing, SixSigma, inspection experience, hygiene training.
• University or above degree preferred
• Language skills at least fluent in English, Chinese/Mandarin and preferably German
