Responsibilities:

• SDH equipment evaluation and implementation
• Assist for transmission network design and development
• Participate in installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication equipment in Hong Kong and Oversea countries
• Work with vendors or contractors for commissioning
• Perform fault isolation of telecommunication network as Tier 2 and Tier 3 support
• Perform troubleshooting on network problem
• Maintain, operate the facilities of data centre and perform daily maintenance activities
• Perform emergency call out (ECO) service on shift basis

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Telecom /Electronics / Information Engineering or related discipline
• Working experience in Telecom Industry, prefer in network operation field
• Sound knowledge in transmission equipment such as SDH, DWDM, routers and switches
• Good understanding of SDH alarms and analysis for troubleshooting
• Analytical in problem solving and able to work independently
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficient in Mandarin is definitely an advantage
• ECO support is required on shift basis
