Responsibilities:

• To assist VP - Tours & Travel in overseeing the Shorex Operations for Genting Cruise Lines.
• To assist VP - Tours & Travel in overseeing the department.
• Maintain an efficient work force.
• Verify all the requests from various departments related to shore excursion and seek approval from Vice President - Tours & Travel if needed.
• Evaluate suppliers’ rates and performance to ensure cost effectiveness and bench marking against other cruise lines.
• Take immediate action on guest complaints related to shore excursions.
• Regular on-site inspections on all shore excursions offered.
• Research and develop new shore excursions packages.
• Verify all incoming invoices and rates related to shore excursions.
• Implement selling prices for all shore excursions.
• Propose yearly budgets for shore excursions.
• Monitor monthly expenditure and revenue to ensure maximum contribution to the division.
• Maintain and promote good rapport among all staff/crew and with other departments to ensure productive work environment 

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma holder, preferably majoring in tours and travel or hospitality service course.
• Minimum 10 years experience in travel agency, airline or hotel tour operations.
• Self starter, confident and pleasant personality.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to travel with short notice.
