Responsibilities:

• A mobile engineering lead who is proficient with latest mobile technology.
• Primary focus will be leading team of engineers to build great mobile solutions.  Ensure the overall application are robust and easy to maintain and keep up with industry development best practices.
• Work with  global teams to coordinate with teammate in different location and with different culture. Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
• Have deep understanding of mobile architecture, common mobile integration approaches and web services (REST, JSON, SFDC integration) as well as the ability to develop across multiple platforms (native iOS, native Android, Hybrid -- HTML/JavaScript/React/Angular)
• Maintain sense of Usability and aesthetic application design
• Mentor and keep team to adopt with industry development best practices
• Translating designs, wireframes or other forms of requirement into technical instruction for Engineer
• Stay aware of optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Organize team structure to maximize team’s throughput
• Actively participate in Agile/scrum methodology
• Work along with Product Owner and team members

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of overall experience in software development, with 3+ years of mobile development and architecture experience
• At least 2-3 years of developer management experience. Managed at least 2 developers, ideally have managed a larger team or multiple JavaScript focused teams.
• Experience coaching and mentoring technical team members is a plus
• Technical acumen to convert business plans into technical solutions that work
• Experience with Swift or Objective-C and Xcode, Java and Eclipse, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks (Angular.js, Backbone, Ember, jQuery, jQuery Mobile), REST web services/JSON structures, Git Version Control with Github or Bitbucket
• Experience building apps for iPhone and Android phones is desired
• Experience working with hybrid app development, ideally using Cordova/PhoneGap
• Experience working with and delivering projects using Agile methodologies.  Strong understanding of the role of Product Owner and Scrum Master is an advantage
• Strong team player willing to pitch in and do whatever it takes to make our team/customer successful
• Still hands-on with code every day.
• More than comfortable with modern web development standards including HTML, CSS, Javascript and responsive design
• Worked on greenfield and/or large scale React applications before
• Fluent with the command line and usage of git
• Have a computing or software engineering degree. Or in the absence of one, show that steps have been taken to fill this gap in training/knowledge
