Responsibilities

• Setup and deploy Personal Computer to employees in accordance to Company’s prescribed standard of Hardware, Software and Network Infrastructure.
• Provides IT / Technical services in supporting and assisting users’ daily automated processes and tasks in relation to all business applications and prescribed software within Star Cruises offices.
• Maintain and support IT equipment’s used by Star Cruises employees (shore and ships) in order to provide optimum and continual usage for Business operations.
• Prepare and deliver broadcast message to all affected locations / employees after communicating and verifying with respective IT sections on IT / System services availability for business operation in the Company.
• Provide Weekly / Monthly status report on IT / Technical support.

Requirements

• Fresh graduate with Diploma Advanced / Higher, or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

• 1 to 2 year Experience on technical support role or equivalent

• Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals on Windows services such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DHCP, and VPN in context of clients end usage.

• Should have a solid knowledge of internet protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP & HTTP, as well as the ability to use diagnostic tools such as traceroute, ping, and dig.

• Should have strong knowledge on understanding and handling alerts coming from System Monitoring tool as 1^st level of support.

• Excellent Workstation, Operating System, and basic Office software troubleshooting ability.

• Excellent writing skills email, documentation, etc

• The ability to be a good listener, and to really understand a user problem or question and help them solve it.
