Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology / Engineering or related disciplines and relevant professional certifications (preferred)
• A minimum of 2 years of related hands-on experience. 
• HK permanent residency
• Must be skilled in sysadmin activities like user administration responsibilities, request groups, register forms, printer setup, register custom applications, etc.
• Expertise in RMAN, hot and cold backups.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Additional skills like OBIEE, WebLogic, SQL server, SOA, PeopleSoft etc. are an added advantage.
• Improvements for operating policies, technical architecture and configuration of database system and related applications
• Cooperation with security and system administrators to resolve security issues, performance issues, stability issues
• Ability to assist technical teams with troubleshooting SQL code, Oracle queries, failed interfaces and processes.
• Must have experience working in Application Maintenance support model.
• Must have the ability to quickly identify problems and work with Oracle eBusiness Suite support and Application Services team to implement solutions with minimal downtime.
• Technical proficiency in write queries for testing/validating source system data. 
• Good team player, mature and able to work under pressure

Job Duties:

• Installation, upgrades and managed services experience in Application in R12 and Database 11g, 12c.
• Cloning and patching applications and databases, managing concurrent managers.
• Implementing production support procedures.
• Managing, monitoring and configuring workflows.
• Creating database users and maintaining password rights.
• Undertake DBA role to manage all databases, including database patching, upgrade, performance tuning, monitoring, back-up and recovery for critical systems
• Provide database support for Oracle within Unix, Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows environment
• Install and configure various Oracle database products and HA solutions including Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard
• Provide database and VM hosting service to external customers through Oracle Exadata and Exalogic tools
• Perform development using PL/SQL, Unix scripts and Java
• Perform system administration and monitoring on Unix, Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows servers
• Provide technical assistance to the application team for project development
