My client, a leading Global FinTech Product Provider, specialising in banking and insurance technologies, is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a background in Wealth Management to join their expanding Hong Kong team. Reporting to the Regional Head of Business Analysis you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the software business modeling and requirement collection by outlining and delimiting the solution being modeled
- Work closely with project and product stakeholders to identify and specify functional system requirements, processes and non-functional requirements
- Interact with product and project managers to evaluate new functionalities and solution
- Support delivery team on development time clarification and work back with the client if solution has to be revised
- Support internal and client testing teams in their activities
- Mentor those with less experience through informal channels
- Suggest areas of improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
- 5 years of relevant experience with strong understanding of all the products covered by wealth managers, client profiling processes, financial planning approaches, advisory and cross border regulation
- Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or other related fields from a recognized University
- Knowledge of analysis methodology, modelling tools (knowledge of UML is a plus) and information technology tools
- Proven track record on Digital projects delivery will be a plus
- Strong understanding of banking domain, particularly in at least one of the following areas:
o Wealth management for advisory and front office systems
o Financial Planning
o RoboAdvisory
o Banking KYC and AML
o RoboAdvisory
o Banking KYC and AML
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
