The client is a respected global financial group, is now seeking a Manager – Product Development / Proposition Manager - Actuarial (Life Insurance) (45k - 60k) to join their growing team in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

• Focus and support strategic product research, design, development, project planning and implementation of Life products.
• Develop a proposition strategy that positions corporate most effectively and facilitate expansion of distribution channels and new business
• Generate product insights, prioritize product ideas, test price sensitivity, to ensure the marketability of new products, sales potential and profitability
• Perform competitive analysis and gather market intelligence
• Actively manage the existing propositions across product life cycles to ensure they continue to meet the needs of distribution channels and customers, including proposition performance reviews
• Lead the product approval submission and discussion with SFC and regional office/head office and actively manage their expectations

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with 6 years’ experience in product development, product marketing and market intelligence with strong exposure in life insurance products
• Candidate with actuarial background is preferable
• Extensive knowledge of HK life insurance market and implication from economic environment is a plus
• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong insurance products and regulatory filing process and practices
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
