Responsibilities

• Develop product design concepts from ideas to retail products , through entire design processes (concept generation and hand sketches, 2D renderings and 3D renderings, supervise construction of prototypes, prepare presentation materials)
• Conduct market research and analyze data to have a better understanding of target users.
• Work closely to manufacturing and Engineering departments to ensure high product quality and cost effectiveness
• Be a project leader to work & communicate with various parties
• Create design proposals for global OEM/ ODM clients, which fits their brand identities and standards.

Requirements 

• Degree holder in product design or related disciplines
• 5 years of solid experience in OBM/ODM product design
• Good sketching skill with sense of aesthetics and functionality
• Detail-oriented mind who can solve problems with innovative solutions
• Proficiency in Solidworks, Illustrator and Photoshop
• A good team player and able to work independently;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience working for Houseware / Home appliances field is an advantage
• senior product designer applicant should have experience in mentoring team members
