To take the brand to the next level, a reputable cosmetic group is seeking for a high calibre regional corporate communications professional to join the team.
This is a newly created role at group level. Reporting to the regional communications director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic corporate communications initiatives in the APAC region, with the objective to protect and elevate the reputation of the group. You are the key person to establish and strengthen relations with traditional and online media with regional and local business, financial and consumer pages as well as proactively pitching positive media coverage to elevate consumer perception on the brand. Another key focus of the role is to mitigate reputational risks and develop approaches to mitigate those risks by identifying and anticipating issues related to stakeholder, public, regulatory or industry policy which may impact the company reputation; providing strategic counselling and recommendations to senior executives. Your other responsibilities are but not limited to: group profiling and positioning, initiate thought-leadership campaigns; identify speaking and sponsorship opportunities; develop and implement CSR strategies which align with global directions and etc.
The ideal candidate should be a Bachelor Degree holder in Communications / Journalism / Marketing or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of regional corporate communications and/or public affairs experience in consumer sectors. You are strategic yet able to work with hands-on approach; self-motivated; flexible, open-minded, responsive, organized; and able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. You have excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Candidate with additional Asian language skills is a plus. Business travel is required.
