Job Description

Our client is a prestigious and global leading company in lifestyle/ luxury consumer goods industry with worldwide operation, with Hong Kong as its Asia Pacific regional hub. In order to tie with the upcoming business development plan, they are now hiring a passionate, strategic and charismatic Associate Brand Director to support the new brand re-position in China market.

Reporting to Marketing Director Asia Pacific, you will be based in Hong Kong and lead a niche team to be the brand owner of one major luxury brand that will be re-positioned as a Masterbrand in China market. You will lead the brand resume and brand directions, and design the brand identity, portfolio, and the upstream marketing strategies and packaging for respective launch. You will develop the superior understanding of middle & top class consumer & competitions for designing the proper product and communication to win in the segment. You will also need to liaise with external parties such as plants, advertising agency, local PRC government officials, etc. for delivering the brand priorities.

To be succeed in this role, you should be a Bachelor Degree holder preferably with majors in Marketing, Business Admin, Communications, etc. You should possess at least 8 years of solid brand marketing/ product marketing experience gained from renowned/ international leading brands together with extensive experience on strategy, brand, portfolio, upstream design experience. You should have at least 5 years of brand ownership experience across product categories such as luxury/ lifestyle, beauty care, etc. Former brand marketing experience targeting China consumers is a DEFINITE advantage. You should be able to speak fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Candidates with past working experience in China are welcomed. You should be open to business travels to major cities in China upon business needs.
