Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the Technology Division with a number of IT infrastructure and project teams. Responsible for strategic planning, IT operation, project development, IT budget and IT staff capacity building, etc.
• Overseeing IT policies, security, development methodologies, technical standards, system interface and integration, hardware and software.
• Responsible for overall quality of IT projects and services.
• As a key management member of HKEdCity responsible for achieving the Business Plans and performance pledge.
• Take up ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in system development, of which 6 years are in supervisory position.
• Good track record of strategic planning, people management, budget planning, project management, vendor management, IT security and compliance.
• Extensive experience in software development life cycle covering requirement analysis, functional specification, system design, development, testing and deployment. Experience in DevOps and mobile applications would be an advantage.
• Extensive experience in designing and operating scalable IT infrastructure with high availability. Knowledge on cloud infrastructure would be an advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Strong leadership with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
