Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

To be part of the Brand team in driving the Marketing Transformation by building brands to drive business results; specifically:

Business Plug-In

  1. To be part of the “subject matter expert” team in defining Schneider Electric’s Total Branding Architecture and Naming Convention project which covers all BUs and this project is likely to span across 2 years
  2. To engage with all Businesses (Partner Business/ Non Partner Business) to help defining and finalizing all Brand-related aspects from portfolio management, brand architecture, brand positioning, brand expression and brand management –covering but not limited to the Master brand and Associated/Independent brands, Range/Concept/Program names

Brand Specialization (any 1 - 2 of the following)

  1. To lead all things related to Brand Ticker which drives all brand metrics, globally –continuously refinement, enhancement of the tool will be looked into, and this includes community engagement with the Power Users and active engagement with the countries
  2. To support the Brand Application initiative in living the brand strategy across different functions, taking it beyond marketing communication e.g. HR, Supply Chains, IPO, Product Development, Product Design etc. –this includes everything from processes, policies and governance

Brand Culture 

  1. To initiate Thought Leadership projects, as a Brand Team, to build credentials for the Team, also as a means to instill brand planning and collaboration within the team
  2. To drive initiative that allow the team to be intimately engaged with our Customers

Key Skills/Attributes/ Job Specific Competencies

  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Branding, Marketing and/or Communication
  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing and/or Communication; additional qualification in Psychology, Design, Architecture, Literature or any other creative-related skills will be a plus

  • Solution/Result oriented
  • Iinterested and open in brand, social and cultural trends inside and outside of Schneider Electric  

-Proactive, self-motivated and dynamic

  • Assertive and resilient
  • Strong facilitation/presentation skills, both in preparing materials required and in delivery
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Easy to connect with people (important when interacting with different stakeholders, including customers)
  • Computer literate
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good communication skills in English and preferable at least one additional language
