Roles and Responsibilities:

The candidate is a key member of the Production division responsible for ensuring the full suite of products or services meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.

He/She will also be taking a leading role in championing product development ideas to enhance and improve the existing product lines to cater to different international market. Having experience in liaising with the various international markets especially in ASIA will be a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sourcing of vendors, managing production on reprints and negotiating with vendors to achieve the best possible competitive costing
• Plan, conduct inspection on-site, press check and testing of materials and products at vendor premises whenever is necessary to ensure finished product meet the original specification and quality.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
• Travelling overseas to assist and coordinate on-site support including press check for any ad-hoc project(s) with our regional distributors
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
• Supporting all product development initiatives, particularly packaging and User Guides, including all digital initiatives
• Provide Sales and Marketing support to regional distributors

Key Competencies:

• Experience in Educational publishing, book printing and possess good knowledge in basic publishing software and information technology especially on hardware
