Overview of the job

Wavemaker Hong Kong is looking for an Senior Interaction Specialist to manage all aspects of Wavemaker Digital's client services function including the successful execution of client projects, reporting and analysis, and client relations management. Working closely with the teams, you will be exposed to both the thinking and operationalisation of best-in-class innovation solutions that drive our clients’ business most efficiently.


Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Associate Director & Head of Digital, North Asia

Measures of success – 

In three months:

  • Have an understanding of the agency portfolio of clients
  • Lead and engage respective clients

In six months:

  • Train and mentor executives in your team
  • Participate in new business pitches

In 12 months:

  • Ability to independently manage campaigns with little supervision
  • Ability to execute and optimise across all digital platforms

Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Delivery of SEM campaigns for a key regional client
  • Assist with new briefs shared by the client and providing search recommendations
  • Deliver clear feedback to the entire regional and global client team on search recommendations and
  • Create best practice in search processes to be used across all APAC teams handling the regional client.
  • Keep our internal team and clients up to date with the latest innovations and developments in search, particularly those that are applicable to the finance industry.
  • Deliver excellent account management and superb internal communication skills.
  • Ensure campaign set-up follows best practice and global guidelines in terms of structure, ad extensions, and more.
  • Ensure campaigns are optimized regularly and deliver outstanding campaign performance.
  • Ensure financial process is followed in terms of creation and invoicing of signed search plans.
  • Production of client reporting with suitable commentary, highlighting actionable insights

 

What you will need: 

  • University degree with minimum of 2-3 years of experience with client service management, in a complex, technical product environment, preferably including experience within a media agency
  • Proven track record of successfully directing and managing client-service focused integrated/digital media campaign execution
  • Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team of digital specialists
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relations including handling difficult client situations to optimal results for both the client and the company
  • Applicants with less experience will be considered for Interaction Specialist
