Responsibilities:

• Planning and organising production schedules
• Assessing project and resource requirements
• Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and management
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
• Determining quality control standards
• Overseeing production processes
• Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
• Organising the in-house production kits
• Maintaining the warehouse and storage facilities for ease of use
• Supervising the work of junior staff
• Organising relevant training sessions
• Supplier site visits - both in China and Hong Kong
• Budget control during the project
• Preparing event documentation - bibles, applications, schedules, risk assessments, etc
• Onsite for bump in, bump out, and event days

Requirements:

• 3-5 years proven work experience in events production or related industries
• Good command of English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
• Great at prioritising, time management and organisational skills
• Willing to work in evenings, during weekends and public holidays
• Proficient in Mac

Salary and benefits:

• $35,000+ monthly salary depending on experience
• 18 days annual leave
• 5-day work week
