Our company, a european kids fashion retailer, is looking for a senior buyer.

you will be in charge of the development of strong, efficient & profitable partnerships with suppliers.

You will be a crucial actor  of the development of a valuable supply strategy thanks to its agility and efficiency:

1)    Sourcing Strategy

1. You actively define the relevant zones & territories where you will find the best suppliers  for the company  regarding to our products & design strategy
2. You define & create the relationship with suppliers (fabric mill & garment makers)  

2)    Cost & margin targets

1. Expert in buying you are responsible for establishing the right strategy and action plan to secure and reach our costs and margin targets. Working all along with product manager, you find out solutions to bring short term answers to economical efficiency.

3)    Lead time & Fast Fashion:

1. You totally contribute to our brand objectives in providing novelties every season with competitive lead time
2. You optimize the lead time & contibute to continual improvements

4)    Permanent products

1. You garantuee a real follow-up of our permanent products in terms of commitment and repeat  order

5)    Partners relationship

1. You manage in your day-to-day activities the suppliers relationship & insist on the company’s wish to build strong & long term partnerships to provide the best supply processes
   

Your road map in details :  

• Negociate, coordinate and follow up with suppliers for ordering and shipment issues
• Deploy effective stock replenishment and allocation plan in order to maintain optimal stock and SKU's holding
• Act as a leader to drive projects regarding supply processes…
• Prepare reports and analyses for monitoring the effectiveness of the product strategies

Who are you?

• Degree in Purchasing/ 3-7 years solid buying experience of garment in retail chain environment
• Passionnate / fashion sense
• Work experience in retail operation would be really appreciated
• Definitively enthusiastic, open-minded & friendly and able to lead many projects at the same time
• You can learn easily from your mistakes and have a strong analytical mind which helps you to provide solution in day to day. 
• Of course you speak English! Chinese, French a plus
