Requirements

• Degree holder in textile/clothing or related disciplines;
• At least 5 years product development experience in Sports brand or apparel brand of which 2 years at managerial level;
• Strong fashion sense and good knowledge of textile;
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese, preferably with Japanese;
• Self-initiative, responsible and well-organized;
• Travel to China, Japan and South East Asia required.

Responsibilities

• Understand brand (sportswear & swimwear) images, positioning and direction;
• Research and analyze customer demand and market trend;
• Make presentation to customer and provide professional advice during product design and development stage;
• Lead a team to develop season concept and product lineup;
• Negotiate for product cost and quality with suppliers to keep reasonable cost and good quality;
• Communicate with sales team and both Japan and Italian companies.
