Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the factory and warehouse daily operation
  • Oversee hygiene management according to company standards for all brands on factory level
  • Perform production planning, scheduling, costing, purchasing of raw materials planning, managing mass production, stock control, quality control, packaging and logistic etc.
  • To responsible the overall (new and existing) production line planning and work flow design, installation, specification, programming, simulation and testing are running smoothly and maintenance
  • Identify, implement and monitor the strategies of management and long term production plans. 
  • Provide manufacturing technical support and advise on procedures improvement
  • Responsible for production plant security management and resources allocation issues
  • Formulate and implement strategic automation engineering solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and profitability of the factory
  • Responsible for recruitment and coaching of general factory and warehouse workers
  • Work closely with Executive Chef and different departments to ensure food factory operation including goods receiving, production, distribution and warehouse system meet company quality standard, targets as well as local laws and regulations
  • Resolve any ad hoc and critical issues

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above holder in Food Production / Catering / Food Science or related disciplines
  • At least 5 year relevant experience in managing central kitchen /food factory / food production management and chain-restaurant operation, in which minimum 2 years at supervisory level. Experience in sizeable companies is a must while in multi-national firm a definite advantage
  • Solid experience in handling HACCP or ISO 22000 issues will be a definite advantage
  • Good knowledge of cooking foods
  • Good knowledge of quality and safety management system in food production
  • Strong supervisory and leadership with good problem solving skills
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
