About the Role

• Responsible in planning and implementing worldwide solutions across all aspects in reducing cost to serve; increase revenues, and improve service to customers with best in class industry standards operations.
• Act as the APAC lead in driving all service development and new initiatives. Analyzes & develops sound conclusions and feasible recommendation in all area relates to engineering principles, service, manpower, capital equipment and overall expenses
• Assesses corporate and divisional needs for operations, service and product improvements.
• Directs the ongoing design, enhancement/upgrading, justification and implementation of operational processes to improve systems, productivity and resource utilization across divisions.
• Assists in the development of best practices & standard operating procedures manuals. Ensures standardization/coordination of international industrial engineering techniques/procedures.
• Take lead in driving efficiency and quality in work flow by evaluating current business practices, looking for ways to improve productivity, reduce costs, and make the best use of the business’s resources.
• Some other responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, implementing improvement strategies, data analysis, using statistical computer analysis, leading teams, collecting performance data, and working cooperatively with the department.

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial/Business Engineering & re-engineering or a related quantitative discipline
• 5 years’ of professional experience in international transportation business (both air & ocean operations)
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certified and/or QDM Expert certified; Change Management/Project Management certifications are highly preferred
• Experience in driving cross functional and regional Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of ISO certifications and proven track records in improving logistics operating model are highly desirable
• Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills are essential
• Good command of written & spoken in English & Chinese (Mandarin)
