Purpose

As the intermediary between our company and the vendors to manage costing, negotiate prices, manage production and deliver the highest standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Research and source for suitable suppliers as well as required products at the best price and quality.
• Prepare quotations and prices for sales meeting and conduct negotiation during order placement.
• Handle production problems with vendors and provide solutions to customer.
• Monitor the order production to ensure the quality and delivery date requirement have been met.

We looking for candidates with the following skills and experience

Required Skills and Experience

• University Degree in Textile & Clothing related departments
• 5 years sourcing and buying experience
• Effective spoken and written communication in Chinese, English
• With excellent pricing knowledge in China and the APAC markets

Preferred Attributes

• Good background and knowledge of Materials Sourcing & Development, Garment Construction and Sample Development
• Excellent command on MS Office applications
• Sound fashion sense and good understanding of textile quality
