Responsibilities:

• Manage the claims function for Accident & Health to ensure operational efficiency, efficient claims settlement and equitable solution to property claims dispute in accordance with the Company’s claims philosophy.
• Support the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives for the region/branch.
• Prompt acceptance and declinature of claims; fair and effective settlement of claims within guidelines; adequate reserving; appropriate use of external service providers; identified fraud indicators.
• Responsible for identifying and managing risks within own area of work and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Review and revise internal claims manuals, guidelines and practices.
• Quickly respond to and resolve complaints within the agreed service standards. Take immediate corrective actions when necessary.
• Attract, develop and retain high quality workforce with the knowledge, skill and will to deliver excellent claim outcomes and customer service.
• Provide quality training to distribution channels and internal departments concerning property claims area.
• Develop and maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public.

Requirements:

• University Degree or professional qualification in insurance or related disciplines.
• At least 8 years of relevant working experiences with at least 3 years in supervisory role.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of Accident & Health claims.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer centric minded and able to meet the Company’s service standards.
• Self-motivated, positive and able to work under pressure.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
